Maybelline Rocket Volum' Express Mascara Review

Hi! Here's a short review of the mascara I just tried couple of months ago.
It's called Maybelline Rocket Volum' Express Mascara.

I was loyal to my Maybelline Falsies mascara not until I saw the cousin of my husband

having this beautiful lashes which actually looks like she's wearing false eyelashes already.

And so when I asked her she introduced this to me.

And of course I have to have this.

Packaging looks like this.

And the brush is fat and straight.

I can say that I like falsies better since it's curved and hugs my lashes better.

This mascara is really good for volumizing and fair enough as far as lengthening my lashes.

It did not come up as good as my husband's cousins lashes but the effect was okay though for 

a mascara priced around six to eight bucks, depends where you get yours.

It was nice to try a different mascara from the brand I love.

 I just love Maybelline, it's really a good drugstore brand specially there mascaras.

I don't want to spend on mascaras so much not unless they're on sale since you gotta

replace them every three months.

How about you? I have heard about L'Oreals mascaras.

Any recommendations?

Hard Candy Blush Crush Baked Blush in Honey Moon

Baked blushes are eye candies.

How do you say no to a beautiful blush that looks like this. *Aw*

However, I was disappointed when I get to swatch it.

It appears as a highlighter than a blush actually.

Anyway, it's nice that I get to try one hard candy product.

And I guess I'm done lol.

I'll keep it for a while but not really a fan of it though.

It was less than five bucks at walmart.

So that's just a quick post of my new baked blush, I mean highlighter.

I should have picked up the doll pink (not sure of the name) instead!

Benefit Cosmetics "Hello Flawless" !

Ever since I started working here in a mall's cosmetics department, it has always been a delightful opportunity to browse all prestige brands we carry, swatch different shades, compare brands and most of all being updated on what's hot and new items on the floor.

So last June, I wanted a face powder suited for Hawaii's crazy hot weather. 

More over, I went a tad darker than I am before. Products that I carried with me from the Philippines are either one or two shades lighter than my skin color right now. I figured I needed a new face product to try on. Then it so happened that a makeup artist from Benefit cosmetics is a Filipina. (Hi Ella!)

And so I am sold!

MY OPINION:

♥♥♥LIKES♥♥♥

-Packaging is sturdy and compact. It has a separate bottom compartment for sponge and brush which I find very neat and  hygienic.

-The sponge it comes with for heavier coverage and a brush for sheer finish are both good quality tools.

-Blends easily and gives a silky matte finish
-No break-outs after a month of use

-No need for touch-ups in my case since I don't have oily skin. However, take into consideration that I use bb cream or sometimes face primer as base and I stay mostly in an air-conditioned area.

-It's light weight and gives a nice medium to heavy coverage since I love using the sponge. It could cover dark circles and redness around my nose area.

~~Cons~~

-It doesn't come with SPF which I just latter realized. I am loving the light weight yet with good coverage effect that it gives so I stick with it anyway. There liquid foundation comes an SPF though.

-Comes out a little powdery whenever I use the brush so I rather use the sponge plus I get the instant nice coverage I wanted on my dark eye circles haha!

Price:
-Got mine for $29.00 from the military exchange.
-Mall prices are $34.00 each.

Overall, I definitely recommend this.

It leaves my skin looking radiant and flawless that lasts throughout the day!

I am so loving Benefit cosmetics now! Love their fancy packaging and good quality products.

Well wonder no more why it’s such a good quality make up, Benefit Cosmetics is a sister company to Louis Vuitton, but not part of it. They are owned by the same parent company.

Looking for an affordable nose pack?

Well here's a good one.

SAIZEN have it for just Php 88.00!

I got these buddy when I was still in the Philippines.

Luckily I brought it here!

 My gawd! 

You just don't know how thankful I am I packed it inside my luggage.

The Asian beauty shops are kinda far to my place so nah thanks.

Anyway, this one does the trick although if you have

"super" black heads I doubt if you would really appreciate this.

I bet you'd better try PUREDERM NOSE STRIP which is like Php 120.00?

Correct me if I'm wrong with the price 'kay?

By the way, it doesn't hurt so much when you peel it off. 

(Well at least for me).

I thought it was cool and very easy to use.

I just find doll looking eyes amazingly stunning hihi!

And if ever I'm on my lazy days, I just pile lots of coats of my volumizing and lengthening mascara.

But here comes the hassle when I'm about to remove it!

Damn those panda eyes right?

That's why I kinda prefer sticking to my false lashes then few coats of mascara after.

With that being said, here's my current favorite.

Having a hard time to decide which BB cream to buy?

Worry no more as I share my two cents on different kinds of BB creams from Maybelline New York.

There are two things to consider when you initially wanted to try the most sought after skin product now a days, BB cream. First, where can you purchase? Next, would it fit your budget? 

With that being said, here are two options that I have personally tried and I recommend. 

The Maybelline Clear Smooth 8-in-1 skin transformer BB cream and 

the latter Maybelline Clear Smooth 8-in-1 High Protection Anti UV BB cream. That was mouthful! 

Anyway, they're both locally available and  affordable.

WISHTREND: Rivecowe Blush in Shine Orange Review

A self confessed cheek chic here. 

No doubt how a little single cutesy girly blush can definitely excite all my senses! 

I'm naturally pale. Adding hint of color on my cheeks would totally brighten up my face. 

Whether it's gonna be pink, peach, mauvey or orange, but honestly pale pinks and light peachy colors are my cup of tea, like literally the super natural looking ones. 

Well anyway, couple of weeks ago I got a new blush from Wishtrend. It's Rivecowe Shine blusher, brand from Korea, in color Shine Orange. 

Suesh Refill Pans: Good Blush and Concealer for less!

Hi! Just wanted to quickly share what I got from Suesh in Alabang Town Center couple of days ago. I was actually there for J.Co's oreology and blueberrymore doughnuts to be specific *LOL* and then I saw Suesh once again. So being very kikay and kinda impatient at the same time, I decided to drop by Suesh while the line on J.Co Donuts is so looooong.

I HEART Maybelline Clear Smooth BB Stick!

So today I'd like to quickly share with you how much I fell in love with Maybelline's BB stick. It's been out in the market for quite a while and yeah shame on me for just being able to try it a month ago or so. Maybelline Philippines sent me products to try out along with their previous search for new 2013 Maybelline 8 BB Top Models. Just in case you didn't know, I've been an avid fan of BB creams for such a long time. Constantly using BB creams every single typical day of my life wherein I just need an extra something to even my skin tone, a sheer coverage and light weight product on my face. Say no to cakey-ness! So here comes an additional Blemish Balm (BB) to test. Well a little bit of twist on the packaging because it comes in a stick form, like you literally need to twist it to elevate the BB stick itself *giggles*.

Review: Etude House Drawing Show Dot Liner

   Hi everyone! Some of you might already know how much I love to wear eyeliner. EYELINER defines, outlines and may reshape ones' eyes. It can be used with different types,colors and strokes. I even made a video on how to put eyeliner HERE long months ago. 

   Today, I'd like to share with you my two cents on Etude House's Drawing Show Dot Liner. Out of curiosity I found myself picking up an intriguing fork-like tip eyeliner at the Etude House. It's a trident tip eyeliner which claims to fill the spaces between lashes, dot-by-dot, to accentuate eyes with a precise, intense and lasting line. It's not the typical one-pointed felt tip liner that's either firm or flimsy. The SA told me it's waterproof and it dries matte black which I thought was definitely my cup of tea. She also mentioned it's easy to maneuver around and created few strokes at the back of hand. After that I was sold.

     Let me tell you my story. I honestly have no clear plans yet by the next 2014. Yes, seriously. If you know me personally you'd definitely say--THIS IS SO NOT YOU JANNAH. But yes, I am being freaking serious here. I am anxiously preparing myself for next year's ride. I admit I'm the type of person who wants to have everything planned ahead of time, not only with plan A, that must come with backup plans. Don't get me wrong, I can also be the type of person you can easily drag to hangout or whatever but when it comes to my job or career, it's entirely a different story. I can chill after all my work is done because if not, I can not even relaxed at all then. I guess I'm just a type of person who values career and would want to achieve something someday so I'd rather keep on moving every single day of my life than chill and "nga-nga" everyday.

IOPE Air Cushion XP Review

A lot of you had probably heard or even tried what we call now as "cushion foundations".
Cool right? Oh yeah!ヽ(*⌒∇⌒*)ﾉ

So couple of months ago,Wishtrend contacted me to answer a survey of Iope Air Cushion XP prior to launching. I appreciate their effort to take into account their consumers' opinion for improvement of product quality. And today, I wanted to share my two cents on the product itself. By the way, they only asked for answering the survey nonetheless it's really my intention to share this to my readers.

Basically in my opinion, this is simply a more convenient or shall I say a "fuss free" way of applying makeup. Knowing I'm always in a hurry, I must say this is a "good innovation" *wink*. And oh, as far as I have researched, IOPE is sort of a mother brand of the cushion trend as it's the first one to launch and make it into trend.

Some of you might already know how a "cheek person" I am.

I mean to say I how I love wearing a blusher!  

Anyway, please refrain from calling it "blush-on", 

"blush" or "blusher" are either more appropriate.
