Who dreams of having purple,violet, dark violet, indigo eyes?

Well at times I do! 

Violet eyes seem mystically beautiful to stare...very unique, strange and stunning.

In medical field, true violet eyes only occur in albinos.

 There are many myths behind those who claimed to have "natural purple eyes".

 Why bother when in this generation, wearing violet lenses is nothing but usual?

Last month, UNIQSO sent me two pairs of lenses to try out.

Look at how cute their packaging!

And since purple is one of my favorite color. 

Perhaps, I'll be reviewing this first.

Each pair comes with a cutie lens case enclosed in a small box.

Remember to always check the printed info on the vial prior to opening. 

Take note of the expiration date and  inspect well for authenticity of the lens.

My thoughts

Pros:

-First of all, their cute packaging surprised me. 

I was just expecting a pair of lens vial sealed in bubble wrap and as simple and plain as the usual. 

But they had this very cute presentation which will make you smile once you open their package. 

Comes with a cute lens case, Q-tip and box per pair.

-The color is very unique. Not only that it is purple but the shade isn't too dark nor too light to look like you're having "alien" eyes. Totally not creepy in my opinion! It's three tone pattern gives the natural look instead of looking "shocked" despite it's diameter size.

-It's comfortable to wear and does not feel thick upon wearing.

Cons:

-Diameter size is not my cup of tea. I personally prefer 14-14.5mm normal lens diameter, nonetheless this isn't hard to wear unlike other lens that somewhat folds because they're super big in diameter when you're about to wear them. Chinky-eyed lens beginners might have difficulty wearing bigger diameter lens.

-You might find it hard to choose from their site . Better check out their FB Fan Page to see more photos of their previous clients with the actual lenses. 

Overall, I love the lens! Love the effect it gives on my eyes!

I know...I know.. But nah-ah!

This one is what I've been seriously lash-lemming for the longest time! (ﾉ≧∀≦)ﾉ

PROS:

-Definitely adds glamour to the eye look yet it's not flamboyant. It's instead a very natural looking artificial lash style. Perhaps, the most natural looking false eyelashes I own as of the moment.

- Has a clear band which does not scream "false lashes"! 

(My friends love to guess if I'm wearing an artificial pair or just added mascara effect on my natural lashes. They got another wrong answer when I wore this! Haha!)

-The band is also thin along with the very light hairs which makes the whole lash light-weight. It does not poke the inner eye corners neither. Absolutely no discomfort all throughout the day for me!

-Easy to wear and remove. But please consider that I'm used on wearing false lashes even on ordinary days.

Beginners might find it a little hard. Just a little I swear! It's easy to make this sit nearest to your lash line.

-May be worn with or without eye shadows. Just simply throw this on and you're good to go! :)

CONS:

-Some might find the price a little expensive for 5 pairs but really...every single centavo is worth it!

Over all, I absolutely recommend this to everyone who wants natural looking lashes or just a day time artificial lash pair. This will definitely look good on any eye makeup or even without wearing any eye shadow at all. I bet you'll surely love this too! Go get 'em lovelies!

 And oh! Here's my handy-dandy lash case. Thanks to my senior nurse who gave this to me as her "pasalubong" along with others from Macau! It actually came with a different artificial lashes. Ain't it very compact and sturdy?Love eeeettttt!

Kawaii Eyes: HANA MA23 Super Nudy Green

Here's moi again...sharing with you another kawaii beauty accessory that some of you might already know I'm much addicted to! Yup you've guessed it right! None other than new pairs of lenses! (~~,)

 I was actually a bit skeptical to wear this green lenses when I first saw them. Or may be I've been just really into grays, blue and purple? I dunno but the only green lens that suit me well was Geo Angel Green. This immediately reminded me of Geo Nudy Green,which I purchased years ago that in my opinion doesn't fit my eye shape nicely.The latter was a tad lighter than this one as far as I remember. However, this HANA MA23 Super Nudy Green I guess was more of the right shade of green that I blends better to my natural eye color.

My thoughts

Pros:

-Has dolly-eye green effect. Definitely makes the eyes pop. Great for those who loves asian kawaii looks, photo shoots , cosplays and likes.

-The diameter size also suits my preference. I own several lens with 15mm and I honestly don't wear them as much. 14mm-14.5mm diameter lenses looks perfectly fine on my eye shape.

-The shade of color green blends my natural eye shape well than the other green lens I've tried. (Remember that the lens effect still depends on your natural eye color and shape.)

-It's comfortable to wear and doesn't feel thick upon wearing.

-Comes with a lens case per pair. (I happen to buy from optical shops before and sometimes the lens case is not included in the package. Soooo yehey! Plus the lens case is what I prefer. A lens case with a clear cap so I can see what's inside and saves me time from choosing which lens to wear for a particular day.)

Cons:

-You might find it hard to choose from their site . Better check out their FB Fan Page to see more photos of their previous clients with the actual lenses. 

-This exact pair only comes in PLANO, meaning only for those who have normal eye vision.

-I don't highly recommend for those who prefer natural-looking colored lens.

Overall, I still like the lens. Gives a nice twist to my mainstream lens haul. Not overly flamboyant actually. May still be wearable during daytime with light neutral shadows and cute asian faux lashes and great fashion style. Btw, If you're also from the Philippines, shipping takes 1-2weeks.

Love at first sight: Beauty Cosmetics 12pc Brush Set

Hi lovelies!

Just wanted to throw a brief post about my first impressions on Beauty Cosmetics 12 piece brush set.

These are their hottest and latest brushes!

The moment I saw the brush kit, OH MY!!! It looks so luxurious!

I've known Beauty Cosmetics and the good owner Ms. Senn for so long already, even before I started out blogging and making tuts and vids. See my video last year introducing BC HERE and my previous blog posts HERE. I've always been a fan of their "quality yet affordable" products. But I never expected that a PHP1,250.00 brush set would look and feel as luxurious as this.

 It exceeded my first hand expectations. One thing I immediately noticed  is the protective leather brush case. It comes in a magnetic closure which secures the brushes even more and makes the whole look darn classier and easier to use! I just had to say this...I super love the brush roll, even the flaps aren't made of just plastic! It's overall texture feels classy and it is actually sturdy. I just love it a bunch! 

And here are the brushes! Wee! :)

All of this babies have black glossy long handles with Beauty Cosmetics brand.

I also noticed that the bristles are dense and feels very soft. I immediately washed them after I went back to work. I did not experienced any shedding nor bleeding. I noticed that they dried up pretty fast too(or it's just really cold and windy lately LOL). I'm quite brutal with cleaning my brushes despite the fact that it may loosen up their glue. I really deep wash  my brushes(as in deep, vivid wash LOL). I'd rather make sure to have everything clean as much as possible before it touches my face (majority of those with sensitive skin will fooosure agree with me). Exactly the reason why I can't post a "how I clean my brushes" video or post. You guys might end up pitying the brushes! Fortunately, most of my brushes survived! And actually none from my Beauty Cosmetics brushes ever gave up so far. Kudos!

The fact that it looks more worth than PHP 1,250, you're already getting more than what you pay for.

I mean, if you divide the it by 12 oh my, each just cost for P104 something. 

Just the eye brushes alone IMO would each cost more than that. Isn't it that an ELF eyeshader brush cost here P129? What more for the face brushes, considering there are 4 face brushes on the whole set?

Plus I love the fact that they did not just included a spoolie or anything that would looks "just to make it 12pc" or simply "just to fill in the set" brush. Each brush is worthy IMO and would be very essential in everyday use.

I can't still say much as far as how it picks up pigments and stuff. Let's see how good are this babies as far as their actual performance... I'll update you as soon as I have tried and tested them all out.

Btw, the whole set actually reminded me of Sigma's Mr. Bunny Essential Kit enclosed in a Sigma's Classic Brush Roll. See more photos of the BC's latest 12pc brushes below...
