Rimmel Moisture Renew Lippie in Pink Chic

Hi everyone!

Are you a lippie junkie?
Well, no worries cause you're totally not alone!

I, myself, do not even know how many lippie should I have
just to stop myself from buying lipsticks!

True enough, adding a pop of color on lips really makes a difference.
Most especially when you're looking pale and dull.
It just brightens up your look and makes a difference on the whole outcome.

With that being said, I found a lipstick brand quite a long time ago which I really love, love, love.
Rimmel is a drugstore brand which has a lot to offer for the their lip products.
Wide selection of shades and finishes.
I remember loving the Airy Fairy.

So here I am sharing with you the Pink Chic color.
It's from the Moisture Renew collection.
I adore the simple purple tube packaging.
Of course it is purple. 'Nuff said haha!

It is creamy, pigmented and works really well even if you have chapped lips.
Has a little bit of chemical smell but not over powering/bothering.
An everyday lip color that would stay on for good number of hours.
It works great for the price!
I got it for less than five bucks which is always awesome.

Elizabeth Arden's Pretty Pink no. 23 Lipstick

Hi my lovely friends!
How are you all doing?
Hope all is well!

Ready for another lippie product review?
Today, let me share about my "pretty pink" lipstick.
It's from Elizabeth Arden.

Let's start with the classic look of the packaging.
It's very sturdy and looks sophisticated.
As of the shade,
I picked up a pink color.
You can never go wrong with this pink moinsturizing lipstick.
It glides on easily and very creamy.
They have another collection which is Ceramide.
Packaging wise, the other one comes in round gold tube.
I just love the texture and the pigmentation.
It's an everyday lip color!

I highly recommend this for fair people who wants a cute hint of pink on their lips
but doesn't want too nude nor a too vibrant pink.
By the way, they have a lot of gifts with purchases.
I also like their skin care products as well!

Swatch at the back of my hand.

Jannah

Elizabeth Arden's Wildberry no. 33: Hot Pink Lipstick!

This is just a quick review of a very pigmented yet moisturizing lippie
that I'm currently obsessed right now.

Well I got it from Elizabeth Arden.
It gives my pale face a nice pop of color with or without eye makeup.
It glides easily on the lips and feels creamy.
The color sort of stains my lips at the end of the day which I really love.
It contains ceramide which is actually an anti-aging ingredient.

It's not a drugstore product. However, you might be able to get this on
gifts with purchase that Elizabeth Arden usually does.
They have nice gifts when you buy a certain worth of value.
I got this with their awesome skin care products which I would share with you soon.

Over all, I like the formulation and color of this lipstick
but for the price you may wanna wait whenever they have awesome offers and better deal.

Jannah

L'Oreal Infallible Lipcolour in no. 750 Garnet

Lately I have been very much obsessed with lip stains, tints, lacquer, just anything that last extra longer on the lips aside from the typical creamy lipsticks which offers lip color for few hours and then gone.
This post are for those who are lazy to re-apply lip color or just really lacking time to do any touch ups.
This product has been actually out in the market for a long time already.
L'Oreal Infallible Lipcolour in no. 750 Garnet on me.

Product packaging looks like this. It comes with the lip color and the lip balm.

On my lips

Emoticon WHAT I THINK ABOUT IT?

* Lasts even after eating. Stays put the whole day.
*I like the pop of color it gives on my face.
*I AM IN LOVE WITH THE LIP BALM!
*Good price for less than $10!

*It sometimes dry my lips.

*I recommend to exfoliate and scrub lips first then moisturize overnight prior to application the next day for smoother application.
*Apply the lip color and let it set for a couple of minutes before applying the lip balm over so it wouldn't drag the lip color.

Over all I like it. I just hope they have more shades to choose from because most of the selection are plumy and red.
I have heard of the covergirl lip stain which is like this but I have not tried it though.

Let me know if any of you have tried either one of them and leave a comment below on which you think is better or what. Thank you! :)

Review: L'Oreal Colour Riche in no. 170 Cotton Pink

Looking for a good moisturizing lippie?
Well I just happen to find one!

I picked up a nice baby pink color. Something cute but still looks natural on lips.
Like a shade that would not wash off my face leaving a pale look. No it doesn't do that.
Without further ado, here it is. L'Oreal Colour Riche in no. 170 Cotton Pink
Kindly excuse my thumb marks by the way.

'
 What I think about it?
-I like that it contains Jojoba butter which helps to keep the lips soft and moisturized.
-I love the color, it's a baby pink shade which I'm into as of the moment.
-Inexpensive, I even got mine for cheaper price because of sale. $2.99 only!
-It glides on smoothly and stays for decent number of hours.
-It sort of emphasizes dry lips though so better exfoliate and moisturize prior to application.
-It glides on easily and feels very light.

Have you ever tried this? Let me know your thoughts too!

Sophie Martin J’ADORE LIPSTICK in Summer Pink

Hi everyone!
Here's another uber duper cheap lipstick find!
Sophie Martin  J’ADORE LIPSTICK
costs PHP 79.00 only and is actually available in 10 shades.
I got the shade in  in Summer Pink.
For some reasons I just think that it's a very wearable color for everyday use.
Here are some photos to show you:

Isn't that a gorgeous color?
Honestly, I'd love to pick up more color like Mango Peach and Cotton Peach.
It's not as creamy as I've expected to be but the color pay-off is really good.
May be an important factor to consider is that my lips aren't as moisturized as it is supposed to be.
Yes, talk about dry chapped lips here.
I prefer to use lip balm prior to lipstick application so it would glide better smoothly.
Overall, it's a decent lipstick to own specially if you're on a tight budget.

Btw, I miss blogging and virtually talking with you!
It's been a while! IMY!

Please stay tuned for more posts.
Thanks for reading.

Affordable Lippie: Aido Brand

Hi everyone!!!

I've been away for a while and I just want to say that I MISS YAAAAAH! I miss sharing with you my latest  "kikay" finds and girly thing-y here LOL! How's everyone btw? Hope you're all doing fine!

Here's another affordable Philippine local brand I want to share. Remember my Aido lipstick which I did a short review HERE

This is the second lip color that I got from AIDO brand. A wearable red lip color as I would like to describe it best. It comes in a silver tube with clear cap, not much of my liking to be honest. However, the color pay off is decent and buildable. Appears sheer red with beautiful frost. Decent staying power but applying lip balm beforehand is recommended as this can enhance dryness of your lips. Same little problem with my other Aido lippie. Whenever I try to close the cap, I have to be very cautious not to damage the tip of the lip bullet! Hassle if you're a girl on the go. Overall, the performance seems okay. Hope they can change the lipstick names to more interesting ones. Given a chance, I'm interested to pick up other colors like pink and coral shades. The moment I got this, only the mauves and reds were left on the rack, which unfortunately not my cup of tea. Anway, this shade "B" Aido lipstick is considerably a great deal for PHP 50.00 only. You may find Aido lipsticks at SM department stores, I saw mine along with other local beauty brand.

What do you think of this brand or lip product? Have you tried any other shade from them already?
Don't hesitate to comment down below dear! :)
And oh oh! I also recently purchased some Sophie products, which is another Philippine brand for review purpose! I reckon a lot of you are interested on cheap finds and local brands so please also stay tuned for that! :)

Thank you so much for reading! :)
Missed me? :)

Cheap Find: The 50 Pesos AIDO Magic Lipstick

Hi everyone! :)

Here's another cheap find I wanted to share with you lovelies.
Yes you got that right! It's super affordable with the price tag of just PHP 50.00, more or less 1 USD only!
Some of you who lives in other country aside from Philippines might find this somewhat similar with ELF cosmetics. However, ELF products that only cost a dollar in US is equivalent to almost 3 USD here in Philippines when converted. Hike of price probably might be due to shipping, tax and etc.

I was actually looking for an affordable lipstick that I can use for a makeup challenge at SM department store beauty section. Hey I just really need to mention that it's so enticing to see our local beauty brands improve now than the way their packaging looked before. Also they try incorporate new ideas on their products like having local BB cream brands. Anyway to cut the story short, I saw a small rack of lipstick at Fashion21 corner. I was intrigued on how would the lipstick appear when applied on lips. Of course I already had an idea then that they were "magic lipsticks".

They come in blue, orange, white and pink lipstick bullets and are enclosed in transparent tubes.
I picked up the pink one. For some reasons I didn't bother to see the "magic" on other colors. The SA swatched the lippie at the back of her hand. With one swatch, it appears to be light in color then after few more swatching, it turns into a darker shade of pink, a tad lighter than hot pink. I can compare the color to Avon's simply pretty magic lipstick in snow white, the one that comes in light purple tube and white lippie bullet if you're not familiar with the name.

The performance seems to be okay. Applies a sheer pink color on lips. Do not expect it to be creamy and opaque. It somewhat works like a lip stain because it actually last longer than my NYX round lipsticks but expect it to be drying. Better to wear a lip balm over this lippie. Or better yet use a lip balm, use this as a lip primer and then apply your favorite creamy lipstick. I only had problem with their packaging. Whenever I close the cap, I can damage the lippie! *Please see photos below*

This is what it already looks like when fully retracted. See the tip part of the bullet?
Yeah, as of now that is already damaged. Aw!

Have you tried this lippie already?
I bought two Aido PHP 50.00 lippie, I'll do a review on the next one later on.
Please stay tuned for that!

MAC Frost Lipstick in Angel

MAC Cosmo vs MAC Angel

Hate that it also melts easily unlike my MAC Cosmo
Grr now I have to use lip brush whenever I need to use this

NYX in Strawberry Milk, MAC Angel, Ever Bilena in Mauvey
Angel is a soft light pink color with mauve undertone which can actually suit any skin color.
It has very minimal frost on it which makes it wearable. It's semi-opaque and I suggest not to over apply as it might look cakey. I'd rather pair this lippie with an eye makeup or else I'd look pale. However, I prefer it more for "morenas".  I do like the scent, it smells like "vanilla" on sleek MAC bullet packaging. Hate that mine was easily broken...grrr..

Did the same thing happened with you or it's just me? LOL
Btw, it's pricey for me...
Will I repurchase? No. I'd better grab a peachy pink or a coral MAC lippie next time.
Suggest shades please! I want a lip color that will make me look blooming and will make my lips pop. I'm more unto pinks, peachy pink, reds and corals than nudes or pale lip colors...

Where to buy?

MAC COSMETICS
Price:
$14.50
But I got it for $19.00 at Duty Free

MAC Amplified Creme Lipstick in Cosmo VS MAC Lippie in Angel
PROS:
-Creamy and glides on easily
-Pigmented (as in)
-Nice for everyday use to those who likes pink with brown undertone lip color.
(I noticed that it appears more pink on lighter skin complexion and seems more brown on darker.)
-Lip color stays for decent number of hours (actually longer than my MAC Angel)

CONS:
-Somewhat drying that's why I opt to use it with Carmex lip balm
-Pricey
