Make Your Blush Stay All Day: It's what the chic does on her cheeks

“Blushing is the most peculiar and most human of all expressions.”
― Charles Darwin, The Expression of Emotion in Man and Animals

You gals might already know how much of a blush person I am.
See some of my collection HERE.

Main blush concern would prolly be---How to make it last all day?
This might not be a problem for the more expensive brands
BUT I wanted to share a tip for those who are more on a budget side,
more practical and yet you get that same effect of longevity.
The trick---> cream blush over powder cheek products.
It provides a base of color and adherence where your powder blush can stick into.

Here's an affordable one that I purchased along with a lipstick that I'm planning to use for a makeup challenge tag (which actually had been long overdue since I can't find time to film yet).
SOPHIE MAGIC PINK CREAM

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

SWATCHES:

MY THOUGHTS
Pros:
-Hygienic packaging since it comes in a tube
-Looks very natural when used alone (I prefer to use it as a blush base tho)
-Lengthens the staying powder of my powder blushes (even the local and drugstore brands)
-Affordable for just PHP 85.00
-Available locally
-In all fairness, no skin breakout!

Cons:
-Since I don't use brush to blend it, I always end up having that pink stains on my finger pads.
-Can be consumed quickly if you use it everyday.

TIP:
-Just apply and blend well the cream blush on your cheeks and dust over your powder blush.
-Use sparingly. No-no for a clown looking blush dear!
-As soon as you apply the cream blush, blend it. Do not use dotting method as you will end up having color patches. Even out the color by building the color on your cheeks carefully.

Where to purchase?
Sophie Martin Branches

Will I repurchase?
Hmm...prolly not? I'm not so sure tho.
Just a petty reason actually, I don't find the packaging much kawaii to my liking haha!
Yes it's handy, useful and a lot more blah blah but I find myself using more cute-looking makeup, if not then a pro-packaging cosmetics would do. Btw, while I was looking for the affordable products that I can still use even after the tag video, I've also seen the Shawill blushes. They seem to barely cost a thing also and the colors are really cute. Light pinks, peachy pinks, either shimmer or matte would do for me, depending on my mood LOL. Guess I wanted to try those instead of getting another tube of this if ever there's another challenge that I have to use affordable cosmetics.

Oh, one more thing to just randomly share...
I'm a self-confessed blush and lippie product lover,
But there's just really one thing that I just really dislike about powder blushes (in which most are typically from the local brands)-- One sweep of your brush and the powder goes everywhere-like literally chalky. How's that for your lungs? Or worst, mess up your white uniform aww.
Doesn't happen with the Sophie Magic Pink Cream--Nice one baby! ^_^

Thanks for reading my review!
Stay safe and Have a nice holiday! :)

“The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It’s the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows & the beauty of a woman only grows with passing years”
