Yummy Waxing: Strip It! Hair Removal Chocolate Sugaring

I had always been a fan of waxing. It's been a long time since I shared with you the original formula of Strip It HERE. I even had videos and giveaways for it before. I just love how smoother and fairer my skin is after the entire procedure. Moreover, it helps to diminish the growth of hair after repeated sessions, which is in contrast with shaving. I'm pretty sure you have already heard of this new product from Strip It, it's the Hair Removal Chocolate Sugaring (How yummy does it sound? hmm).

Product claims:
"The new Strip It Chocolate Sugaring has real Cacao extracts that gives extra moisturizing effect on the skin after your sugaring session. It leaves a yummy chocolate-y scent to your skin too! Cacao is known to hydrate the skin and turns dry skin smooth and soft, giving light natural glow."
Weight: 100g
Price: PHP 198 (May vary from the distributors)

Product Review
Pros:
-It’s a cold wax so I don’t have to heat it.
-Package comes with the necessary things you need to use it, basically the spatula and cloth.
-Strip It is still  by far the best painless cold hair wax I’ve tried so far. (PAIN LEVEL is different on every individual. It depends on the pain tolerance of each person. What I consider painless may already be painful to you.)
-I like the differences that I've noticed from the original formula: Has a velvety, thicker texture and is more moisturizing than the original one. Also smells like minty chocolate IMO tho it doesn't feel minty nor stings. Cool fact: It's edible but not to be eaten in huge amounts.

Cons:
-Waxing procedure may be a little messy specially for the first time users.
You may opt to go to their salon located at Navida Commercial bldg. , 98 Avenida Rizal st., BAHAYANG PAGASA, Molino 2 , Bacoor Cavite. (across LBC, Behind Cut Salon) for your first professional waxing.
-One size available.
-May not be as effective if you have previously shaved or used depilatory creams.

Here's some photos taken when I've personally tried it:

What I love most about waxing: Removes hair from tips down to the roots.

A small portion of my pata (lol) showing the discrepancy on my skin.
Tips:

-Always read the FAQ's and directions first. Process is the same as the original formula.
- SEE DIRECTIONS HERE and FAQ’s HERE
*Where can I find/inquire more about this product?
*Will I repurchase? Yes.
*The original formula or the new chocolate strip it?
Both actually works well for me. Considering the differences would just mainly depend on the area, type of hair and the amount/weight of wax one can consume. If you have thicker and coarser hair then Chocolate Strip It  is denser and thicker thus making it more effective than the other. While, if you think you have fine hair to remove but large area to be waxed then Original Strip It is more practical to buy since they come in big tubs.
Now after I have shared with you my two cents. I just want to let the concerned readers know, regardless that this was sent to me by the owner of the company, all my reviews are/were still based on my sole and genuine opinion. Just wanted to make that clear since I've been getting messages now like, "You got them for free noh?", "Did they sent u blah2..." and so on...I may sound rude or mean by posting this but I just want some people to realize and be reminded that I already included FTCs and disclaimer on my blog. I'd like to reiterate that this blog is a fruit of my passion, effort and time. I never did claim that I'm an expert PR, most of my reviews are actually just simple and somehow informal but I'm already contented with that because that's the real me talking/sharing. A good example is this product, my previous review was purchased and I've been ordering from them for such a long time now FIY. And I believe I'm not the only one gaining with what you refer as "free" from my time and effort on blogging and filming. The appreciation of the lucky winners are more than enough to prove that this blog shares more than what it takes. If you don't find my posts legit then at least be civil. Or might as well work hard for yourself if you want to have the same thing you're referring to as "free". But I doubt having the wrong goal and vision will make your way. Well anyway...it's all up to you to decide, at least you heard my side.
Thank you so much for reading!
Take care! :)

Jannah

  1. Hi Jannah! Thanks for your review, and as always we learn from your feedbacks. And just to add, Ms. Jannah has been a loyal customer and reviewed the classic Strip It as a regular buyer.

We loved her enthusiasm about Strip It. And to show aprreciation we offered to sponsor "giveaways" for her READERS. Most bloggers who review our products actually purchase their kits. And we don't pay them either. =)

We gave complimentary (aka "sample") Chocolate Sugaring kits to bloggers who reviewed classic Strip It for them to compare.

If you have doubt's, pls visit our site and see feedbacks of regular customers (non-bloggers). =)
