PRODUCT CLAIMS:

Made with a blend of mineral oil and powder, our creamy Jumbo Eye Pencils glide on effortlessly—no pulling, tugging or fading—and come in a rainbow of vivid hues. Some call her chubby. We say voluptuous. Available in 32 shades. The eminent Jumbo Eye Pencil is sealed in a recyclable eco-friendly case and is best paired with the NYX dual sharpener."

*MY THOUGHTS*
(NYX in MILK)

Pros:
-Multipurpose product to use as an eyeliner and doubles up as an eye shadow base.
(Personally prefer to use this as base not as an eye shadow itself.)
-True to it's claim, it's creamy and glides easily. Impeccable color!
-I love using Nyx Jumbo pencil in MILK on my waterline (It's the BOMB!) and you might be surprise that I also use it as base for my face highlighter (smashbox soft lights).
-I noticed that it stays on my waterline than the other brands of eyeliner that I currently own.
-It can also be a cheaper alternative if you don't have an eye primer. See photos below.

Top: NYX Jumbo Pencil in MILK
Middle: Pink eye shadow from 88pc matte palette
Bottom: Same pink eyeshadow over the NYX MILK

Oh davvva?!
Magnifico! Told yeah it really makes a difference when used as a base!
I recommend this when you're about to use any bright eye shadow color as it provides an opaque base that will make the eye shadow more vibrant!

Here's more proof:
LEFT MOST: Urban decay in Grifter with NYX MILK as base; Beside it is just UD shadow in Grifter
THIRD swatch: Urban Decay in Deep End with NYX MILK as base; Beside (Right most) is just Deep End

SAAAAAY what right?!

Wait...
Does it smudge?

I've tried using it for two consecutive days (just actually for trial purposes) as eye shadow base, went off to  grocery on the first day and the second on a party. It didn't crease on me as an eye shadow base, in reference I don't have oily lids. My advise is to use it minimally, don't put to much, just enough for the shadow to stick on and make the color pop. But as for lining my waterline, I use this often.

WATER TEST

The eye shadows without base are all washed off!

After rubbing!

CONS:
Honestly when I initially saw this I was like "How can I sharpen this thingy?!"
Wahhh! I don't have a sharpener suited for it's! Guess I have to depot it rather. (Toxic?!)

But, OVERALL:
This eye liner is heaven sent!
It's a staple product on my vanity!
Love it!

What do you think about this?
Have you tried them?
What are the other colors do you recommend?

Thank you!

xoxo,
Jannah

  1. Nice post Jannah! You can buy a regular sharpener with jumbo holes at the book store, that's how I sharpen mine. :) Bean and dark brown shade are really good as well. :)

    1. It's cheaper here in Philippines. $6 is pretty expensive for shipping on just eyeliners. Hope you can find a great deal like free shipping or sale. Thanks for the comment. Following you! :)
