James Cooper Jazzy Cream Foundation

Is that OIL I'm seeing when I opened it? >.<
It wasn't there when I checked it after the SA handed it to me before I proceed to the nearest cashier.
When I got home and opened it, it's  like that already. :|
WHY OH WHY???
OH WELL PAPEL, MAYBE PINAWISAN BA SIYA SA BYAHE?! LOL! Charos lang! :p

 MY TWO CENTS:
*Pros:

(I actually don't know if I should really call this SINGLE LAYER but yeah, you can still see the spots/dots I made)

After more layers of James Cooper Jazzy Foundie
It generally covered the red and brown dots but as you see.. it became...you judge it! Haha! :p

*Cons:
-It gives coverage but honestly, it cakes and accentuates wrinkles and fine lines
-It's way too oily for my personal preference
-I used it for 7 consecutive days. I broke out on 3rd day. Geez, I kept trying for PR (product review) sake but my zit gets bigger and bigger & I won't give it a shot for another 8th day.
-Unhygienic if you're not going to use a spatula in getting the product and just deep your brush or sponge straight unto the container.
-White casts on photos.
I tried it on my arm for larger and clearer proof

See the area where the foundie is? :p

Little bit of Sharing:
-Cream foundation works best for normal skin types but this is an exception in my case.
-Sorry to disappoint all of those who rave about this product but seriously, I don't like it. I don't want to say I like it just because most of you does. Love me or hate me for this but I want to be honest.
-I've read other PRs of this and I was confused. We have the same claims but they still recommend it.

FINAL WORDS (with some tagalog/gay lingo verdict)
I had high hopes with this since it was raved by many. But my gosh, walei friend! It doesn't work for me.
'Yung tipong pagpunas mo ng face mo ay sasama sya LOL, but seriously ganon sya. I'm used with BB creams and foundations na parang naabsorb ng skin (if you know what I mean) but with this one, parang nadulas sya (gets?). Coverage wise it's good, but the staying  power of the product per se is na-ah. You really have to set it with powder or else sayang effort mo girl. James Cooper Jazzy cream foundie's coverage is buildable but the heavy feeling and cakey-ness is really noticeable. I have nothing against the company (Issue?! Hahaha!) Just really being honest with my experience on trying this product. We don't know if i'll get to love it in the future, cause that happens sometimes right? I'll let you know but for now, my verdict is Walei friend, labas sa banga! I don't like it.

NOTE: It doesn't mean that if a product didn't work for me, it wouldn't work to you or others as well.
Please buy with your own discretion. I just shared my experience and thoughts. Please do consider our differences with skin type, tone and personal preference.

  1. I personally was thinking about trying this, but it's true that some cream foundations are hit or miss. Nako, kaloka namang magbayad ka ng 550 tapos di mo rin magamit! Ang cream foundi na ginagamit ko Graftobian and RCMA. Ayoko subukan tong James Cooper. Thanks for the review!

  2. I've been wanting to purchase this too but good thing I didn't. Just few months ago I was about to purchase this, visited their booth and swatching them on my wrist indeed coverage was quite good. It was able to conceal the green veins along my wrist in just one swipe but I notice that the consistency is too thick and oily plus the smell is really weird (beauty products should not smell like that, my personal opinion). I truly get the points where you mentioned about the staying power, I have once applied a foundie (without setting powder) I answered my mobile phone and all the foundation were stuck on the LCD of my phone! (talk about embarrassment >_<) Thanks for sharing this honest review and I am really grateful that I didn't buy this orelse I'll just be regretting that I just wasted 550...=)

  3. I'm one of the people who love this.

I don't get the whitecast on photos. I'm shade CF-03.

On days I don't want to wear foundation, which is usually, I just use this as an undereye concealer. I don't even set this with powder.

Different strokes for different folks :)

  4. One of the products I regretted buying.. :( It smells burnt plastic and I also broke out from it. I should've saved my 550 and bought Revlon Colorstay for 500 online. :(
